ICEBOX SESSIONS

I've been rock climbing for almost four decades, mostly here in Nova Scotia. Along the way, I’ve witnessed the evolution of our climbing community — from quiet beginnings to a thriving, dynamic scene.

 

Over this time I've had a chance to contribute to the community in different ways: developing new routes and boulder problems, publishing the now-out-of-print "Nova Scotia Rock" guidebook, helping kickstart some of Climb Nova Scotia’s weekly and annual events, and pushing the grades a bit back in the 90s. 

 

The most rewarding experience, however, has been getting to know the many weird and wonderful characters along the way. This podcast is a celebration of those individuals and also an opportunity for me to meet some new ones.  I hope you enjoy these conversations!​
